Create AeronauticsAirships and flight for Create contraptions

About

Adds buoyancy/lift physics and airship-building blocks so Create contraptions can fly. Includes balloons, propellers, and steam thrusters. Heavy WIP-feeling but flyable contraptions work today. Create: Aeronautics adds airships, propellers and flight rigs built from Create components.

Getting started

Make Andesite Alloy first; it is the basic component for Shafts, Cogwheels, Casings, and early machines. Andesite is found underground, while iron and zinc come from normal mining; JEI/EMI will show the exact pack recipe. Use Create's in-game Ponder system by hovering Create blocks/items and holding the ponder key, usually W.

What you can do

• Generate rotational power with Water Wheels, Windmill Bearings with Sails, or Steam Engines heated by Blaze Burners.
• Move items with Mechanical Belts, Brass Funnels, Brass Tunnels, Chutes, Depots, and Item Vaults.
• Process materials with Mechanical Presses, Mechanical Mixers in Basins, Crushing Wheels, Encased Fan washing, haunting, blasting, and smoking.
• Build farms and drills with Mechanical Harvesters, Mechanical Saws, Mechanical Drills, Deployers, Gantry Carriages, and Rope Pulleys.
• Assemble moving machines with Linear Chassis, Radial Chassis, Super Glue, Mechanical Bearings, Mechanical Pistons, and Cart Assemblers.
• Run rail networks with Train Tracks, Train Stations, Train Controls, Train Schedules, and Portable Storage Interfaces.

Endgame goals

A late Create setup usually centers on a large Steam Engine boiler using Fluid Tanks, multiple Blaze Burners, and enough water input to drive several high-stress production lines. In Create 6.x, a top-tier base can combine Mechanical Crafter arrays, automated Precision Mechanism lines, train logistics, Stock Links, Stock Tickers, Packagers, and Redstone Requesters into a centralized factory and warehouse system.
